It’s Thursday. The 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray is the first-ever hybrid Corvette. The front wheels are powered by a 160 horsepower electric motor, while a 495 horsepower V8 gasoline engine powers the rear wheels for a total output of 655 horsepower. With a 0-60 MPH time of just 2.5 seconds, it’s the fastest accelerating Corvette ever.

I’ve seen numerous videos from the press and individuals reviewing the E-Ray, but until now I hadn’t heard what it sounds like under a hard acceleration. The electric motor gives it a slight but noticeable sci-fi sound and it’s pretty cool!

While recovering from a wound that costs him his voice, he makes vengeance his life’s mission and embarks on a punishing training regimen in order to avenge his son’s death. Full of Woo’s signature style, Silent Night redefines the action genre with visceral, thrill-a-minute storytelling.

It’s Tuesday. At this time of year there isn’t a whole lot of automotive goodness finding its way into my inbox. That’s why I was very excited to see this show up a few days ago from one of my readers. It appears to be a Yenko Vega, but I don’t know enough about these to know if it’s authentic. Yenko Chevrolet was a dealership in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, from 1949 to 1982 and became best known for selling their customized sports cars in the late 60s. These days Yenko cars are highly collectible with some commanding six-figure (and above) price tags. Though the Vega isn’t generally thought of as a muscle car, this orange Yenko might have a thing or two to say about that.
