It’s Monday. Half of our weekend was hot and the other half not so much. Saturday was great with plenty of sun and temperatures in the upper 80s. Sunday was cold, windy, and rainy—perfect stay indoors weather to watch Martin Truex Jr. win the Nascar race in Sonoma, California. And what better weather to have a nice big bowl of chicken noodle soup for dinner.

I didn’t make it out to the Cruise Night in Morris, Illinois, on Saturday night. But I heard they had 919 registered cars! That must have been awesome! What a great way to kick off the season! There’s also a weekly show out in Plainfield, Illinois, every Tuesday night. I’m hoping to get out to that one this week.
