The arena was on its feet when the first retail production VIN 001 2024 @Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray 3LZ crossed the block for $1,100,000 with 100% of the hammer price benefiting @donorschooseorg, an organization who make a difference in the lives of students and teachers across the country.
The generous winning bidder was NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick. In an especially kind gesture, Michelle Mauzy, noted philanthropist and longtime member of the Barrett-Jackson family, donated an additional $50,000 to the nonprofit, bringing the total raised for DonorsChoose to $1,150,000.
