It’s Tuesday. I believe we have another beaver sighting! This one comes from the very unlikely location of the western suburbs of Chicago. I’m a little confused as to what this critter is up to and why he’s sitting all by himself out in someone’s yard. Upon a closer look, he appears to have a small sprig of holly on his winter cap. Could he be some sort of Christmas decoration? It’s strange but I’ve seen Christmas pigs on people’s yards during the holidays, so a beaver wouldn’t be any weirder. It just goes to show ya, beavers are crafty little dudes and you just never know where they’re going to show up next!

It’s Monday. I just opened a new bag of M&M’s Eggs, so I’m ready to do this. As expected, the killer winter storm that was supposed to hit Friday in the Chicagoland area was a dud. Here in the south-west suburbs we had some rain, but that was about it. Then on Saturday night we got a small amount of the horrid white stuff, but it melted by Sunday morning. Good.
