It’s Friday! It looks like our heatwave comes to an end on Sunday. After several days of some intense heat and humidity I’ll be sad to see it go. It sure was nice while it lasted and hopefully the heat will return shortly.

Today I have a video from German YouTubers The Real Life Guys who took an ordinary Tesla and upgraded it to an off-road vehicle by installing a custom built set of tank-style tracks! The project took four weeks of working day and night but they feel it was definitely worth it. How did they pull off such a ridiculous transformation, you ask? Follow along its development and unveiling in the video featured today!

It’s Thursday. What is this? It looks like one of my readers caught a pair of gorgeous C8 Corvettes out in the wild. He found them in the parking lot at a golf club in New Tripoli, PA. Sadly, the photos are very small but it appears the one in Rapid Blue is a coupe and the one in Torch Red is a convertible. Blue, red, coupe, convertible… I’d take one in any color or configuration! Hi Keep, It never ceases to amaze me what I occasionally find in our golf club’s parking lot. Mind you, we are not a high-end country club. Olde Homestead is just a friendly rural public golf club in New Tripoli, PA. When I arrived at 8 o’clock this past Sunday morning these two beauties greeted me in the parking lot! It’s Wednesday. I think we skipped spring and went straight into summer. That’s right, we had full sun and temperatures shot up into the 90s! I took advantage of the beautiful weather by spending the afternoon outside washing up the van. The Corvette is still in storage, but if this heat continues then it might be time to bring it home.

A little later I got together with a buddy for dinner at Ace Drive-In in Joliet. I’ve been going to this place since I was a kid and continue to go several times throughout the summer. The food is average but the root beer is fantastic. Stop by if you’re in the area.
