It’s Friday! Rain, rain, go away. It’s been raining on and off ever since we arrived down here last weekend. With showers in the forecast for Orlando, we decided to take a spin out to the Atlantic side of Florida yesterday. I hadn’t been to Cocoa Beach in 22 years, so we thought it would be fun to go back and see how much it changed. The area surrounding the beach has been built up with new businesses but the beach and pier are exactly the same. That’s sad because they looked pretty run down back then and they still look run down now twenty-two years later. I’m not a fan of the Atlantic side. I greatly prefer the white sand beaches and vibrant colors of the Gulf side. And speaking of the Gulf side, we’re leaving Orlando today and heading over to Tampa. Never been there before so I’m looking forward to checking it out.
