It’s Monday. Rain. Rain. More rain. We’ve had so many consecutive days of rain that I can’t even remember when it all started. Thankfully the streak ended on Sunday when the clouds parted, the sun returned, and the temperature went back up into the 80s where it belonged. Of course, there’s still more rain in the forecast for the next few days but at least we got a short break. Sure wish there was a way to route some of this out to the southwest where it’s badly needed.
After all that rain, when it finally got nice on Sunday there was no way that I was going to stay inside. So I spent the afternoon outside playing with our dog, Abby, while listening to the race in Pocono on Sirius/XM. No work, just fun and enjoyed every minute of it.
And that race! Holy crap the Sunday race was a blast! Kyle Busch won the thing despite a flurry of transmission problems that eventually left him with no clutch and only 4th gear. Unbelievable. In the Saturday race it looked like Kyle Larson had it all wrapped up until he cut a tire on the last lap. Alex Bowman was able to easily pass Larson for the win. A damn good racing weekend.

Now back to the rain.
