New Mexico

It’s Sunday! Before leaving Oklahoma the girlfriend insisted on stopping at the Mercantile in Pawhuska. She’s a fan of Ree Drummond on the Food Network so we had to check out her place. She bought a few things and picked up some goodies from her pastry shop upstairs.  I can vouch for her chocolate chip cookies—damn tasty! One note about Oklahoma… I’m not coming back until you fix your damn roads! They were easily the worst so far. And keep your possums off the road. You now have one less.

We made it out of Oklahoma, through Texas, and into New Mexico where we stopped in Tucumcari. Tomorrow we cross over the mountains. That should be fun.

Ooooklahoma

It’s Saturday! We got a late start leaving Illinois yesterday morning but we were still able to get through Missouri and into Oklahoma near Tulsa. I had never been through Missouri before and enjoyed driving through the rolling hills. They weren’t very high. I think the highest elevation we went over was something like 1,200 feet.

Time to get some rest and hit the road in the morning.

Amateur Friday

It’s Friday! Okay, I’m outta here for a couple weeks. We usually spend the month of March down in Southwest Florida but this time we’re taking a road trip out to Arizona. We’ve always wanted to take a drive out west to take in the scenery and my girlfriend’s son recently moved out there, so we’ll be able to check out his place and enjoy the ride as well. I plan to continue the daily updates but if they don’t show up on time don’t freak out.

I have a couple amateur photos to feature today. These come from the same couple who submitted the video that I featured last week. A big thanks to them for their generous contributions!

Double babes and double jokes and two amateur photos… enjoy!
