It’s Saturday! I started listening to the Pet Shop Boys back in high school. They were extremely popular in the 80s & 90s and have continued to make good music. They recently released a new version of their song West End Girls and created a video to go along with it. I really like it so I thought I’d share it with all of you. It’s Friday! It sounds like we have some nice weather on tap for this weekend out here in the Chicago suburbs. Businesses are starting to open up along with restaurants that are setting up extended outdoor seating. Meanwhile it appears there are states still trending upward with coronavirus cases like Alabama, South Carolina and Virginia. That’s a little scary.

Protesting continues but thankfully the majority are peaceful.

Anyway, I have a small collection of amateur goodness to share with all of you today. This is the second set that this person has sent in and like the others, they really don’t look amateur at all. Actually, they’re way too good to be considered amateur. So, I say enjoy these exceptional non-amateur photos along with the usual Friday double babes & double jokes!

It’s Thursday. I took my van in to my cousin’s shop yesterday because I was feeling a significant wobble while driving. After pulling off the right-rear we found a six inch long slit where the tire had come apart. Scary stuff. After checking the other three we found two others that were in the progress of splitting. Back in 2016 I had put some Kumho discount tires on it that were rated at 40,000 miles. After checking, sure enough, they had just over 40k miles on them. I have never seen tires come apart like that but my cousin said he sees it all the time. So, this time I decided to go with some quality rubber all around and bought some highly rated Firestone tires. They set me back $700 but what a difference! Much nicer ride, I’m very glad I got ’em.

While I was waiting for the tires to get mounted I checked out this beautiful black 1970 Chevelle SS big-block sitting near the back of the shop. My uncle painted it and had just finished buffing it out and it was ready to go home. Very sweet car.

Oh, and I just tried the new fudge brownie M&Ms and they’re spectacular! Can’t stop eating these things.
