Week-long Amateur Goodness: Day 2

It’s Tuesday. Had to pick up some things at Costco yesterday and was somewhat surprised to see the majority of the people shopping were wearing masks. There were a few I saw without them, but probably less than five. I was also impressed with the way Costco was managing the situation. They had several employees outside offering customers disinfectant wipes while others were managing the amount of people entering the store. Everyone was polite, orderly, and okay with the process. We can get through this. It’s not that difficult.

As I mentioned yesterday, I’m featuring some amateur goodness all week long from a reader who sent in a collection of photos of his girlfriend. So, here is the second photo… enjoy!

Week-long Amateur Goodness

It’s Monday. I got out on Saturday to run a few errands and pick up some groceries. I normally use Walmart’s online ordering and pickup, but lately its been getting difficult to get decent pickup times. So, I decided to try Meijer’s online ordering and it was pretty good. They have a feature that tells you up front what the earliest pickup times are before you even start building your list. That’s really nice. Even better was they had everything on my list in stock. Will definitely try them again.

On Sunday I slept in, had some eggs & bacon, and then checked out the Nascar iRacing event at the Richmond Speedway. It was a good race and as far as I know nobody lost their job or said anything controversial. That said, lets move on to next week’s race at Talladega!

One of my readers sent in a collection of amateur goodness recently. I thought instead of putting up all the photos at once, why not spread out the love and feature one every day of the week starting today. Enjoy!

IRacing at Richmond

It’s Sunday! Since we can’t do the real thing yet, quarantine ya know, the next best option is the Nascar iRacing Pro Invitational Series. This week they’re going short-track racing at the Richmond Raceway. Once again it’ll be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 today at noon CST. We’ll see if the field of 30 race drivers can get through the entire race without rage quitting or dropping a racial slur over an open radio! Yeah, that happened. Hopefully everyone will be cool and we’ll get to see some great racing without any controversy!
