It’s Friday! As the world essentially shuts down over the Coronavirus, I’m still down here in southwest Florida enjoying my vacation. So far nothing has really changed for us with the exception of Disney. We had plans to travel up to Orlando to meet up with family for three days in Disney. We canceled those plans several days ago thinking that it wasn’t worth the risk, especially considering that the people in the park would be an international crowd. Of course, Disney announced yesterday that they’re closing the park, which was probably the right call. Other than being more conscious of the things we touch and the use of hand sanitizer, we’ve been doing all the things we normally do down here.
I hope all of you are doing well. Be smart and we’ll all get through this. Double babes & double jokes? You bet. Enjoy!

Nascar
It’s Saturday. With every professional sport canceling games across the board, I had a feeling that it was only a matter of time before Nascar followed along. A couple days ago they announced the upcoming race in Atlanta would be run without spectators. That decision didn’t last very long. By the next day they changed their position and decided to postpone both Sunday’s Atlanta race and next Sunday’s race in Homestead-Miami. It’s disappointing, but I get it.
And sadly, I just checked on the status of this Sunday’s big annual Corvette show in Venice and it has been cancelled. Damn, that one hurts.
Guess that leaves me no choice—time to make some tacos and margaritas and spend the afternoon in the pool.
