Christmas Story

It’s Wednesday. Last summer over the July 4th holiday the girlfriend and I took a trip out to the east coast. We stopped at a number of places along the way, one of which was the Rock ‘N Roll Museum in Cleveland, Ohio. I don’t remember who’s idea it was to seek out another famous Cleveland location, but after a quick Google search we found it—3159 W 11th St, Cleveland, Ohio. As you may have already guessed, it’s the house used in the holiday classic A Christmas Story

The house is in the Tremont neighborhood and was used to film the exterior scenes used in the film. All the interior scenes were filmed on a set in Canada. The house is now used as an attraction and museum that is open to the public. The inside has been restored to match how it was in the movie and visitors can walk through for a charge. When we were there we didn’t have time to take the inside tour, so we just walked around the house checking out the grounds and attractions across the street.

As it turns out, we didn’t need to take the interior tour because someone already did… and he filmed it! If you’re a fan of the movie then you’ll get a kick out of seeing this!

Amateur Goodness

It’s Tuesday. We got a tiny amount of the horrid white stuff the other night but most of it has already melted away. Its been so dark and gloomy the past several days that I’d almost welcome a couple inches just to cover up all the drabness. An even better solution would be if it shot up to 85 degrees and just stayed there! That would be nice.

Anyway, to brighten things up I decided to go with some amateur goodness for today. She’s got a nice smile and is topless, so that’s a good thing. Enjoy!

Ding Fries Are Done!

It’s Monday. That was a fast weekend. The girlfriend and I got together with a friend Saturday night for dinner and saw the movie Knives Out. It’s a mystery who-dunnit type of film and it was fantastic. On Sunday I had to go to another friend’s place to do some computer work. Got home in time for some nice hot soup, leftover turkey sandwiches, and pumpkin pie… all of which went down very nicely, especially on a rainy-snowy day.

It’s probably good that I was gone Sunday afternoon because there was no Nascar or Bears football going on. It’s Nascar’s off-season until mid February and the Bear’s played (and somehow won!) on Thanksgiving, so they had Sunday off. They’ll play again on Thursday this week which means Sunday will be devoid of entertainment… again. Damn.

Ding, fries are done.
