It’s Thursday. Brrr! We’ve been frozen solid for this past week and it’s already pissing me off. It’s only mid November and we’re dealing with lows in the single digits and highs only reaching the into the 20s. On top of that everything is covered in the horrid white stuff. And again, it’s only the middle of November!

Local Mecum Goodness
It’s Friday! We’ve reached the middle of November which means Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away. I’m thankful that I don’t have to travel because our holiday feast will be only a few blocks away. I also don’t plan on fighting the ridiculous crowds on Black Friday to take advantage of low prices on substandard electronics. Nope, nope, nope. Any shopping that I have to do will once again be on the mighty interwebs. So get your DVD of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles at the ready—Thanksgiving will be here before you know it!
The final race of the 2019 Nascar season will be this Sunday afternoon at the Homestead/Miami Speedway. I have to attend a family dinner in Oakbrook, so I’ll have to record the ending to see who wins the championship. And without Nascar, all I’ll have left for Sunday afternoon entertainment will be the Bears. That’s never good.
Anyway, today I have a collection of automotive goodness from the Mecum Auction in Schaumburg, Illinois, a couple weeks ago. One of my readers, Jeff, was able to score some front row seats to all the action. I’m very jealous! I’m really hoping to attend their show the next time they come to the Chicagoland area.

Keep, Thank you for the work day after day. You are my 1st stop in the morning. I had the pleasure of attending the Mecum Auction last Thursday in Schaumburg. Thru a few connections we were able to get the best seats in the house center stage/front row. Attached are a few of the pictures from the day and I will send a couple emails with more. Awesome experience and would recommend any car guy to attend just to check the cars out. While we were there my dad did pick up a 67 Camaro. Needs a little TLC. I will send you some before and after Pics when we get it done. Have a great day time to get back to work.
PS you got me again this year with the Halloween Babe. I knew better and still clicked on it lol.
