It’s Monday. Bleh. Here in the Chicagoland area Fall is definitely creeping in. We had chilly temperatures and heavy rain throughout the weekend. In some areas rainfall on Friday alone was seven inches. Both Saturday & Sunday brought more rain, which made for a pretty crappy weekend. One positive thing was the girlfriend made a pot of her beef barley soup. That went down nicely. There’s nothing better than a big bowl of hot homemade soup when it’s cool and crappy out.

I caught both the Nascar race and the Bears/Vikings game on Sunday afternoon. The Bears did well, beating the Vikings despite losing Trubisky early in the game due to a shoulder injury. As for the Nascar race in Charlotte, NC, I have to finish watching the third segment later today after work.
