It’s Tuesday. This looks like it could be really cool! In this new Netflix original series, Charlize Theron will host drivers from around the world as they compete in custom cars on the biggest, baddest automotive obstacle course ever built. This tournament will test the driving prowess, mechanical ingenuity and emotional resilience of drivers in this open invitation, build and race tournament. Many will compete, but there can only be one Hyperdrive champion! Hyperdrive will premier August 21st on Netflix.

It’s Monday. Had a great weekend this time around. The weather has been perfect so I got no complaints. The girlfriend and I didn’t have anything going on Saturday afternoon, so we decided to jump into the Vette and go for a spin. It felt great having the top down with no particular place to go. We were on our way home just as it was starting to get dark when we made a quick diversion to a nearby local festival. We found a great place to park just as they started their fireworks show. We had a front row seat without even getting out of the car! Not a bad way to wrap up a nice day and a great ride!

It’s Wednesday. It was mighty toasty last Sunday but that didn’t stop me from checking out a nearby festival. There was all kinds of stuff going on, but I was there for the car show. It was only a medium sized show and I got there a little late, so only about half of the field still remained. Damn. I was a little bummed but still managed to get photos of the remaining automotive goodness. So, go ahead and check them out below. Enjoy!
