Over the last several years we’ve vacationed down in Southwest Florida during the month of March. There are all kinds of car shows going on, but it’s the Corvette show in Venice Beach that is my absolute favorite every year. It’s not a huge show, probably only a couple hundred cars, but the variety is good and you just can’t beat the setting among all the iconic palm trees lining the main strip. In addition to all the automotive goodness, there’s also plenty of food and music. It’s just a really great way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It’s Monday and I’m still hurtin’ from yesterday’s Easter dinner. As always, my mom went overboard with the menu. We had Mashed potatoes, lasagna, corn, grilled asparagus, rolls, a big-ass ham, two kinds of pie—french silk and a rhubarb, and seven-layer bars. I tried a little of everything and I probably won’t be able to eat again for another day or two. Unless, of course, we’re talking about Butterfinger Nest Eggs! These things are just too damn tasty to resist!

I added the ability to download the background image because that was probably the most requested feature over the past few days. I have to tweek the menu system for some phones, but that’ll have to wait until mid-week.
